Four beautiful wines on this week's free tasting

We've got four more lovely wines on this week's free tastings

Gold Medal Winning Squealing Pig Pinot Noir

Central Otago Pinot Noir under $20 is always a treat! Gold at this year's Easter Show Wine Awards, this wine rewards with raspberry, subtle spice and almond. Try it with your Sunday Roast, it'll go down a treat.

Drinking like Silk - Trentham Estate River Retreat Shiraz

Here at Manly Liquor we love wines that present a silky mouthfeel, and this one's right up there. A lighter than normal Shiraz, it's a real crowd pleaser with dark berries, ripe cherries, plums and chocolate all lurking around. Its palate is silky and smooth with flavours of ripe dark fruits backed by mocha and oak. The wine enjoys smooth tannins and a delightfully lingering finish. Enjoy this wine with sausage rolls, rack of lamb, Kiwi beef burger and grilled meat with vegetables. Just $13.99.

Gold Medal Winning Craggy Range Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

It's no mean feat to grab a medal from the Decanter awards but if someone's going to, it's more than likely the team at Craggy. Clean and fresh with an elegant balance, it is a more mineral and lime-citrus style than many other (more tropical and herbal) Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. This focused and pure wine is an exercise in restraint and definitely food-friendly. Try it out with seafoods (freaking fantastic with a plate of Bluff's best) and of course the classic Fish and Chips accompaniment for almost every Sauvignon Blanc. $19.99 a bottle for this award winning stunner.

Double Gold Winning Matahiwi Estate Pinot Gris

With this wine, Matahiwi are trying to achieve a more Alsace style of Pinot Gris that is richer and more complex. A portion has therefore been barrel fermented to develop texture and complexity in the final wine. The palate displays aromas of pear, nectarine and toasted almonds leading to a lingering dry finish. This wine is best enjoyed in its youth but will further develop over the next 4 years. We've secured a good stock of this lovely wine that we can retail for just $14.99, around half the cellar door prices!
