Yes, we're showcasing Italy's best wine as judged at the 14th Great International Wine Awards, Zolla Primitivo!

Zolla Primitivo (aka Zinfandel)

Yes, seriously, Italy's best wine! At The Great International Wine Awards 2014, this gorgeous silky wine was awarded that honour. Come and try it out for yourself. You'll find fine tannins merge beautifully with red fruits, jaffa, mocha and chocolate.  Try it with spit roast lamb, beetroot curry or wine stewed lentils with bacon. $26.99 a bottle.

Stony Estate Organic Pinot Noir

We've found the new Stony Estate Pinot Noir, and she's organic! The Stony Estate Pinot Noir 2013 has been the best selling red wine in the store for over a year. As stocks closed on gone, we found her replacement, a delicious Central Otago Reserve Organic wine that is still $15.99 or $90 ($15 each) on orders of six or more bottles. You simply wont buy better Central Otago Pinot Noir for this price, it's amazing. With 4 to 4.5 star reviews in from Peter Saunders, Michael Cooper and Wine Orbit, you can buy with confidence, and this weekend, even more confidence as you can try it! It's a lovely savoury, dark berry, smoked meat style wine. It will go beautifully with traditionally prepared lamb or venison dishes. It's also the sort of easy drinking wine you can just enjoy of an afternoon or evening on its own.

de Vine Waipara Reserve Pinot Gris

This wine has been a favourite with customers all year. Time to give it a tasting so that it can have a whole new group of devotees. It's an opulent aromatic with distinct pear flavours and bouquet. It's a medium-dry style and you'll detect a touch of honey on the palate. It's a great food match with white meat or Asian dishes. Enjoy a bottle for $19.99 or two for just $35.

Stony Estate Organic Central Otago Chardonnay

New in store, this addition to the Stony Estate label is a welcome delight! Peter Saunders says "Lots of fruit-strength in this wine, plenty of spine and some oak, working together well in a balanced way.  Quite a strong Chardonnay, a food wine, mouth-filling and the components are still able to unfold the fruit statement further over the next two (more) years.  Very good drinking, a little gem still fulfilling itself." Come and fulfill yourself at our bargain prices! $12 a bottle or buy five and get the sixth free for $60....and buy as many more as you want at $10 a bottle on the same purchase above six bottles.
